Hyatt’s 6ix Park Grill: For the Early Bird in Us

For a hotel restaurant, this place boasts a pretty good breakfast. Usually this Hyatt is known for its supposedly daily breakfast buffet. However, the morning I ate there, the buffet option wasn’t open because not enough diners were there so we were given the regular menu to order from.

This morning I wasn’t feeling too hungry so I just ordered scrambled eggs with hash browns on the side. Can’t say that it was anything out of ordinary, but I can’t complain since it IS only scrambled eggs and hash browns. My mom ordered an egg white omelette with ham and mushrooms in it. Surprisingly for an egg-white-only omelette, it was really good.

My dad ordered wholewheat pancakes with caramelized bananas on top. First two bites were yumMY! Sometimes I find regular pancakes to taste too buttery, so it pleasant to try wheat pancakes. The thing about this dish is that it can get really sweet after the first few bites, so have a coffee or milk by your side to wash it down.

All in all, for a hotel breakfast, 6ix Park Grill is not too shabby. It’s not too cheap either for what it is either. However, from what my parents said, their buffet breakfast was worth the money for their large selection. If you’re into a simple breakfast, then that may just be the right thing for you.
