You read it right folks, free thai tea and it’s all you can drink.  We have to be honest, what drove us here to begin with was the free thai tea, and its actually quite good.  It was a very good marketing tool.  The food was actually decent as well.  When you sit down, they immediately give you  a bottle of water and thai milk tea.  Subsequently, they will bring you a massive pitcher of thai milk tea to enjoy.  Great deal!

We ordered three dishes.  The Pad See Ew, Orange Chicken, and Tofu Pad Thai.  The pad thai was great.  It definitely wasn’t as flavorful as Sweetea Thai in Artesia, but it was still quite good.  Nothing out of the ordinary here.  The Pad See Ew was also quite good.  It wasn’t too salty and it was flavored just to the right amount.  However, since it was sort of one dimensional in terms of it’s taste, I can’t imagine eating the entire dish by myself because it can get sickening over time.  As for the Orange Chicken I ordered, I can honestly quite say that it is the worst dish of the night.  They used breast meat instead of thigh meat (a really bad idea), and the batter wasn’t crispy either.  The sauce that coated the orange chicken wasn’t that bad, not too sweet or sour, just right on the mark.  Too bad I can’t say the same about the texture of the chicken itself.

Once you finish your meal, they give you free green tea ice cream, mango with some white sweet sauce on it, and fried bananas in wonton skins!  The fried banana wontons were great with the green tea ice cream.  I just put a bit of the green tea ice cream on the fried banana wontons and it was like eating vanilla ice cream with crispy wafers, very good!

This is a decent thai restaurant to come to due to all the free food that they give away.  Is it the best place to get thai food?  Probably not, but at least the food is pretty edible and you get free desert…who can complain about that?
